What happens during a power outage?

The system detects the outage immediately.

The inverter switches

The Deye hybrid inverter automatically isolates the property from the grid.

Batteries take over

Stored energy continues powering the circuits selected for backup.

Solar recharges storage

During daylight, the array keeps producing and replenishing the batteries.

Automatic backup, without waiting for the grid.

When utility service is interrupted, the hybrid inverter safely isolates the property and transfers the selected circuits to battery power. The home remains powered according to the designed backup capacity, while the solar array continues producing energy and recharging storage during daylight. The final design determines which circuits are protected and how long backup can be sustained.
